I deleted my profile. I modeled for about 4 years and I don't enjoy it as much now as I used to, among other reasons. Also, to do with health problems, mainly my ulcer. It says the member has deleted the account or it's waiting to be approved, but I deleted it.

Why did you leave MM?
I don't enjoy modeling like I used to, to make a long answer short. As well as the pain I've had from my ulcer for the past 4 years and it cutting into my life.

i don't mean to sound stupid....but what is an out of the body experience? and when did you experienced them? please explain.
It's termed as - an experience that typically involves a sensation of floating outside of one's body and, in some cases, perceiving one's physical body from a place outside one's body (autoscopy). I experienced it while meditating. Quite the feeling.

if you got in a physical fight with a big badass dude, whats your move for taking him down?
Well, considering I'm not a violent or angry person, I don't see this being realistic, but hypothetically if it did happen I would try to sway him with words. I don't see violence being an effective way to solve any problem.
Do you think Frugality is a bad thing? Like people who are rich but prefer to live life not wasting but saving their money instead. What's your honest opinion?
I don't see anything wrong with being rich but prefering to save money. Some people call that cheap, I call it strategizing. I don't see anything wrong with being frugal.

Can you tell us about your daily beauty routines.
I don't use a whole lot of beauty products. In the evening, if I have worn makeup that day I'll remove my eye-makeup with Lancome's Bi-Facil double action eye-makeup remover. Then I'll wash my face with lukewarm water. Once a week I use N07's (you can find this brand at Shopper's) Total Renewal Micro-dermabrasion Exfoliator. I don't usually use this more than once a week, as it's not recommended. After this I will use a toner all over my face with a cotton ball, usually Lancome's toner. Then as a moisturizer I just use St.Ives Collagen Elastin Moisturizer. (Cheap and can be found at any drugstore.)

Unfortunately I haven't traveled much. I've only been to a few places in BC & AB, and then London, England..but there are many places I'd love to visit. As soon as I save up more money I will hopefully be doing more traveling.

Are you religious?
I wasn't brought up in a religious household. I like to say I have "universal consciousness." It would take a while to describe what exactly it is that I believe in, but if you're asking if I'm catholic, no I'm not.

is canada a racist country like america? im black and im going to canada because i loved it when i visited last year. are you racist or you dont care what color or race a person is?
Unfortunately I think you will find racism in any country you visit, BUT I do believe Canada is an amazing country full of open-minded non-judgemental people. From what I've experienced, Canada is a highly cultural place. Come to Vancouver and most people that live there aren't actually from Canada :) I'm most definitely not racist. The colour of someone's skin should not define who they are.

What's an Irish Linen store? And what did you not like about working there?
It's a store that sells mainly Irish Linens. This ranges from expensive table cloths, to other linens like hand towels etc. Not a very exciting job.
Do you have a favorite outfit from glamour modeling? If so, which one is it?
I don't have a particular favorite outfit, as I rarely wear the same outfit more than once or twice. But in general, I love corsets, or a nice pair of stockings and pretty babydoll cami or something.

I'm not quite sure how to answer that to be honest. Proposal as in marriage or something along those lines? Or proposal as in potential modeling job?
Do you always bring someone with you to your shoots to make sure your safe? How do you know if the places you go to get your photo taken are safe?
I don't usually bring an escort along with me. I did a few times when I started out modeling. If I ever feel like my safety will be in jeopardy, I usually postpone or cancel the shoot. You shouldn't have to feel like you NEED to bring someone along to ensure your safety. That's why I reference check/meet with the photographer before hand for coffee.

I've never made a bucket list, but I have been meaning to. Skydiving and bungee jumping will be included on there.

do you believe that a beautiful model (such as yourself) can keep her glamour career active and be in a long term committed relationship? if so, how? if not, which would you choose?
I do believe so, yes. There has to be a great amount of trust in that relationship and loyalty of course in any relationship, but also an understanding. I approach modeling with professionalism and nothing less. The understanding of this needs to be known by the other person in the relationship and they need to be able to trust me and know that what happens at shoots is strictly business. It is possible, but both people need to meet halfway without one of the people in the relationship being jealous or suspicious.
How does your family feel about you choosing to be a model as your career? Do you plan on modeling for a long time and how far do you want to take it?
My family has always supported me in whatever decisions I choose to make, which I am very grateful for. I'm not sure how long I plan on modeling for, although I'd love to continue doing it for the next few years atleast. I've always considered modeling as a hobby and never really thought about where it could take me in the future, we'll see!
Are there earthquakes in Canada? I'm from California and I've always been curious if another country in North America had earthquakes too.
I'm sure there are earthquakes throughout all of Canada. Living in BC, there are earthquakes here for sure but they're usually so small you don't even notice them.

I would use the money to - Buy both my parents houses, my dad a boat, my mom a car, pay off all of my debt, invest some and donate a lot of the money towards certain charities. Would like to help build schools and hospitals in underdeveloped countries as well.
Did you always want to be a model? How did you choose to be Glamor model?
I didn't always want to be a model, I sort of fell into it to be honest. I always wanted to be an actress or dancer. I think partially the reason I've been into glamour modeling is because of my body type. I'm not tall and slender, so fashion is out of the question. Curves are great for glamour though!
Do you like having brown or blonde hair more?
I love both! It depends on what I'm feeling at the moment. Right now, I love having brown hair and I needed the change, but I also loved having blonde hair.

Recent polls have shown a fifth of Americans can't locate the United States on a world map. Why do you think this is?
I think that a fifth of Americans can't locate the US on a world map because from what I understand, most of their world history is taught only about the Us, therefore they would never need to learn about other countries and their locations, and there probably are only US maps, but no WORLD MAPS showing where they are in relative to everything else.
What would you do if you could hang out with James Dean for a weekend? ;-)
James Dean, oh my goodness. I'd ask him what was his favorite role to play and why, and which was the most challenging. I'd also LOVE to go for a ride in his car with him, speed around and have a good time. Maybe go to the beach, just chill out and get to know who he really was.

Thank you! A lot goes through my mind as I'm modeling. Part of it is that i'm trying to imagine how my pose and angle look to the photographer, this has come though over time and didn't come naturally at first. I think about my expression and if my eyes are open enough usually haha and a lot of it goes into where my hands are placed. i love glamour because it's all about seduction and really selling it to the camera. Eyes are such a big part of that.

What is the difference between Vancouver Island and Vancouver B.C? Which do you live? Is Vancouver B.C a dangerous place like people claim? Or is that only Downtown East Side?
Vancouver, BC is situated on the mainland and Vancouver Island Bc is the island beside it. About an hour and a half ferry ride will get you from Victoria, bc to Tsawwassen and then about a 30 minute drive into Vancouver. I now live in Victoria (where I've lived all my life) but for the past year I lived in Vancouver. I believe that any place can be dangerous, depending on many things. There are many beautiful areas in Vancouver like Stanley Park, North Vancouver is beautiful as well. The East Side can be dangerous. The homelessness problem there is one of the worst in North America. but the city as a whole is beautiful and incredibly diverse.

Have you ever had a bad photo shoot experience or have they all been good? Have you ever had any scary moments?
I have had a few scary situations unfortunately. They've all been apart of the learning process for me. These experiences have made me realize that modeling is a lot dangerous than I thought in the beginning.
Is this true? Being a model or an actor is not about being discovered, it's about discovering yourself?
I'm not sure to be honest. I think finding anything in life you truly enjoy and want to spend your life dedicating yourself to, also includes discovering yourself. :)

Have you ever been to the U.S? If yes, what city?
No, actually. Surprisingly I have never been to the U.S. but I do plan on visiting in the near future!
Is Vancouver BC a good place to pursue a modeling or acting career? Or would you say going to LA or NY is better? I would like to know your honest opinion. I know going to Canada would mean getting a work or student visa if I'm in the U.S.
Honestly, I've always thought that hurling myself into the modeling/acting scene in a place like LA or NY would be a bit difficult considering the amount of people situated in those areas trying to accomplish the same things. Vancouver is an amazingly diverse place and great for starting in acting/modeling. I'd say to help out yourself ahead of the crowd, look into some acting schools and get into some training, or take some acting classes on the side. It never hurts to study what you love, and that would defintely make you stand out in the crowd instead of being another one of those struggling actors working as a waitress/waiter on the side :) Good luck !

Do you love Canada?
I love Canada!! I've always been so patriotic, how could I not be? Canada is an amazing country, and more specifically BC is a wonderful province!
Is being a model a dangerous job?
That's a great question! It really depends on a lot of factors. Modeling needs to be approached in a serious and business-like manner. If you check references, possibly meet the photographer for coffee or chat on the phone before hand, these ways of preparing for a shoot are always a good idea. Developing a base of trusted and close photographers to regularly work with is always a great idea! Always approach each shoot cautiously. I won't lie, being a model can be dangerous, but as long as you approach each situation with a realistic outlook on the situation and cover your bases before hand to ensure as much safety as possible, it should be fine :)

What gives you the confidence to model?
Well to be honest, modeling can be hard at times. There will always be people telling me I'm not tall enough, not blonde enough, not tanned enough, not skinny enough...but the reason I do it is because I genuinely love it and want to inspire people. To be honest, it's the people that tell me they love my work and that I've inspired them to model or start photography is where I get the confidence to continue.

Indoor shoots or outdoor shoots?
That's a hard choice. Shooting in a studio always has its upsides, such as being able to control lighting and having fantastic backdrops/sets. But, shooting outside has brought me some of my favorite images..nature is beautiful ! I also prefer natural lighting.

No, actually. As a child and young teenager I always aspired to be an actress, astronaut (haha yes, I know) or dancer. I never thought modeling was even an option until I was about 17 when I started modeling.

I generally work with people who are genuine and unique. I'm a very laid back but professional model, and I expect the people I work with to be the same..and respectful above all. I work with both amateur and professionals so skill level isn't part of what I evaluate there.

I don't particularly like "penthouse" style nudes, I much rather prefer classy artistic nudes, or glamour nudes like Playboy. They're tasteful. Pose nude if you truly want to, and not for anyone else but yourself.

Time flies, doesn't it
Hey lovelies,
I can't believe yet another semester is almost over. I've almost completed my first year of College, alive! I'll be registering for summer courses soon though, so not out of the woods yet.
I'm not entirely sure on what my plans are for the next four months, but I've been considering moving back to Victoria for the summer possibly. (While taking online courses through College.)
April will be filled with shoots, especially the beginning of the month. Make sure to check back for updates about that!
As for the next few months, I'll be shooting like mad, hoping to add more unique vintage pieces to my collection :)
My weekend was topped off with the unfortunate event of loosing my keys! I've never had this happen before. Not the end of the world, it could be worse of course, but just dying to get them back! Luckily the weekend wasn't an entire mess, as I had a great night with my best friend out on the town. xo
Oh, and one more thing - If any of you have a thing for cupcakes and live in the Victoria area, check out Ooh La La Cupcakes. Ooh so delicious !

So many shoots, so little time
Hey everyone,
I've been feeling lately like I don't have enough time to accomplish what I need to do.
I've been quite busy with school and booking a lot of shoots this month. Very excited and looking forward to it all, but one of these days I really need to chill out. I've been sick for about a month and I'm thinking my busy schedule has a part to play in the length of that.
I have a shoot tomorrow with a photographer from Edinburgh, looking forward to it! I'm also modeling for a College's photography fine art class and really excited about it. I've done a lot of shoots, but never for a class. No idea how many students there will be, but going to embrace the new experience with a clear mind.
I will make sure to post photos soon!

First blog. Insomnia :)
Hey everyone,
I decided to jump on the blog train, 10 years too late. Better late than never though!
